| Bio: | Been a professional actress since 1986. I started directing in youth theatre in 1995, and also worked with young adults with learning disabilities such as Autism and Asberger's syndrome, using drama techniques to teach the clients life skills.
I am currently grovelling around for funding for the feature film I'm producing later this year. It's my first feature length film though I have directed shorts before. We're filming in the Warrington/Earlestown and Liverpool area.
My scripts are usually edgy and issue based. My favourite director is Ken Loach, and if I ever get to be a tenth as good as him, I'll be happy.
I also teach B-TEC Performing Arts at my old high school, Golborne Comprehensive, which is near Wigan. |
